Easy to grow gage with large, exquisitely flavoured fruits
‘Oullins Golden Gage’ is a reliable, heavy cropping gage tree. In autumn it will bear yellow-green, gage fruits with orange-red speckles. These sweet, juicy fruits ripen in August, and as they age they get slightly softer and milder – perfect for eating right off the tree. The fruits are excellent for cooking, baking, freezing, juicing, or for savoury jams and preserves.’Oullins Golden Gage’ has been awarded the Award of Garden Merit given by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), which helps gardeners make informed choices about plants.
